International History Olympiad
The International History Olympiad is a biennial celebration of history attended by the best primary and secondary school history students from around the world, featuring competitions, field trips, social activities, and much more.

National History Bee
The National History Bee is a quiz competition for individual students, testing knowledge of the history of all eras and all parts of the world. Founded as one of the first two IAC events in 2010, the National History Bee has welcomed hundreds of thousands of students since then in a competition celebrating knowledge of all facets of human history.

The American History Essay Contest
This contest is open to students in public, private, and parochial schools, and registered home-study programs. Students in grades five through eight are encouraged to participate. Each year, a selected topic for use during the academic year is announced, and contest instructions are published online and sent to schools by participating DAR chapters. Essays are judged for historical accuracy, adherence to the topic, organization of materials, interest, originality, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and neatness.

This year students are asked to explore how diplomats can continue to evolve their craft to meet the needs of an ever-changing world that brings fresh challenges and opportunities to the global community and America’s place in it.
